Gennaro Lendi

Gennaro was born on October 15, 1984, in Naples, Italy, to a family of entrepreneurs who were strongly passionate about horses: his father bought him his first pony before he was even born… Enthusiastic from an early age about equestrian circles and being in the company of these animals, later, it would always be his father who would lead him into the reining environment, then booming in Europe, and follow his brilliant youth career.

All the breaks “snatched” from studying will be devoted to this sport, and at the end of scientific high school Gennaro will immediately make the decision to devote himself to it full-time.

Initially a student of a true founder of Italian reining, National Team member Dario Carmignani, in the years to come Lendi would fine-tune his technical training by riding alongside names such as Todd Bergen, Andrea Fappani and Shawn Flarida.

A trainer and entrepreneur, he has always run his own business from A to Z, working first at his family’s center and then moving to Tuscany, a great land of Italian horses, where he ran the breeding and training center on the estate of internationally renowned photographer Oliviero Toscani.

He is currently a trainer at Gordon Quarter Horses in Scottsdale, Arizona.
